Meet 1.00 St Helens Central Rail Station

*Please note there are no direct trains from Manchester to St Helens Central. St Helens Junction is a fair way from the town centre and there is no connection between the two (thanks Dr Beeching!). Better to change at Wigan. There are direct trains from Liverpool however.

Come along and enjoy a cavalcade of quirky churches, a mammoth car park and some beautiful banks.

Not forgetting the architectural heritage of Pilkington's Glass.

Two hours of fun-filled modernity on the not so plain Lancashire Plain.

NB: Walk will be approximately 2 hours in length - this is an outdoor event and is at the mercy of the weather, please dress accordingly, and take extra care with road traffic and all those other on street hazards!
