To celebrate the launch of our book GMC21 - Twenty First Century Architecture in Manchester and Salford we are hosting a talk and panel event.

The first half will be the editors and photographer Daniel Hopkinson talking about the process of putting the book together - the choice of buildings, the production of the book and, i'm sure, opinions on some of the buildings contained within.

The second half will see a panel discussion with some major architects working in the city at present and who have projects contained in the book. They will hopefully give some insight into individual projects and wider questions about Manchester's 21st Century architecture. 

The panel is Natalia Maximova (Sheppard Robson) Ged Couser (BDP) Heather Mason (Buttress) and Simon Branson (Fielden Clegg and Bradley studios)

Ticket price is £10 or £8 for concessions (students, unwaged, over 60 etc) and thanks to BDP's generosity includes a free introductory drink and snacks.
