Modernist Liverpool tours at the Liverpool Architecture Festival

Liverpool Architecture Festival is back, and the June 2024 edition will be bigger and better than ever.

Building on the successes of the 2021 and 2022 Festivals, #LAF24 intends to deliver a full calendar of free, interactive events and exhibitions throughout the Liverpool City Region in Halton, Knowsley St. Helens, Sefton, Wirral, and Liverpool.

The theme ‘Neighbourhood’ intends to help people connect with their local architectural environment.

And the Liverpool Modernist Society will be delivering a number of free to attend walking tours around the City Centre and the University campus.

Modernism has a vast presence in the architec­ture of Liverpool. Dominic Wilkinson of the Mod­ernist Society’s Liverpool chapter will host a guided tour of Liverpool’s Modern Architecture.

This tour will weave through the University of Liverpool campus.

This City Centre tour weaves through the city taking in areas from the University of Liverpool campus down to the city’s historic business district.
