Take a guided and curated tour of the Stradling Collection’s Bauhaus, Breuer, Bristol exhibition. Bristol takes centre stage in this celebration of Modernism which marks the 90th anniversary of the iconic 1936 Crofton Gane Pavilion, a ground-breaking trade stand built to showcase modernist ideals.
The exhibition features original Marcel Breuer furniture, rare photographs and letters, alongside a detailed model of the Pavilion model by Max Gane.
The Stradling Collection contains over 700 pieces of ceramic and glass, as well as many items of furniture and paintings. It was formed and created by the late Ken Stradling, with items from, amongst others, Marcel Breuer and Alvor Aalto
