Two days in Newcastle
Saturday 20th September
Meet at South African War Memorial - by Haymarket Metro Station at 9:45am sharp to leave at 10am.
Bus to Peterlee at 10:10am from Eldon Square bus station. Arrive in Peterlee approximately 11:05
Explore shopping precinct, walk to Sunny Blunts estate and Apollo Pavilion
Return to shopping precinct for lunch 1:00 - then return to Newcastle on 2pm bus, arrive in city centre 3pm
Short loop of city centre - Monument, up onto walkway system, down to Manors Car Park and Swan House roundabout.
Explore shopping precinct, walk to Sunny Blunts estate and Apollo Pavilion
Return to shopping precinct for lunch 1:00 - then return to Newcastle on 2pm bus, arrive in city centre 3pm
Short loop of city centre - Monument, up onto walkway system, down to Manors Car Park and Swan House roundabout.
Finish 5pm.

Explore northern end of city centre - Civic Centre, Central Motorway, Northumbria University.
Walk to Monument - break for lunch at 12:30
Get Metro to Byker.
Explore Byker estate
