Post War Public Art by Lisa Brown
"Propaganda of the imagination" - this is how Misha Black described art and i think this even more true of public art. It's out there . For all to see. Whether we like it or not.
And i am glad it is.
We have all been living in lockdown for what seems like about 300 years and these little snatches of joy have been a tonic whilst galleries and spaces have been closed.
So here is a selection of some of the ones i've been fortunate to see. Some of them are very famous, others not so much, but they are all worthy of a look.
So put on some stout boots and join me on this tour of mosaics, murals, reliefs and sculptures.
