This zine is ultimately a love letter to my home town, which I allude to in the text. It was made for a creative get together held in Peterlee a few years ago.
Although it comes from a BMX perspective , after years of riding and exploring places outside of Peterlee, you notice recurring themes such as brutalism and modernism. These genres of architecture lend themselves kindly to BMX.
The photos in this short zine were taken whilst exploring modernism in the new towns surrounding my adopted home of London using the train network; looking for under-appreciated and seldom seen slabs of concrete. Tim Evans
