Tony Benn, The Modernist - print
As the modernist magazine has passed the milestone of issue number 40, we thought we'd pick some of our favourite covers to release as prints .. starting with issue 21, the 'government' issue, featuring cover star Tony Benn.
As Postmaster General, Tony Benn considered removing the Queens head from the nations postage stamps, oversaw the opening of the Post Office Tower and as Minister for Aviation in the late 1960s, he played a part in keeping the Concorde project on track, when the Treasury would have preferred to cancel it.
