Every decent organisation needs a good motto and ours ‘TOWARDS A NOBLER, BRAVER AGE’ was one we lifted from the 1945 City of Manchester Plan. The 1945 Plan is filled with post war optimism and we thought the line neatly sums up everything we love about Modernism.
We also think that right now, in a period of great strife, uncertainty and negativity its message resonates as much as ever. I’m sure you, as we do, all look forward to the better times that will inevitably come and as such why now show your optimism through the medium of the t-shirt?
We asked the legendary Trevor Johnson to work with our motto and he has produced a strong and powerful visual statement.
Available in various colours : the front exhibits our motto. The ink colour is an Antique/ Off White.
