The 6th book by West Country Modern, and last in the series of colour covers + photography of alternative rural landmarks. Rocky looks at ‘landscapes of extraction’, negative architectural space where the scars of removal create striking landscapes.

The book is introduced with an essay by Sam Jacob and is designed by Sam Blunden.

Jethro Marshall is an image maker who describes his work as ‘anti-bucolic / pro-rural’, creating typologies of utilitarian countryside scenes.
