We are delighted to be attending the 2nd edition of Biblioteka Art Book Fair at The Warburg Institute. Bringing together a diverse group of over 60 publishers, book dealers, artists and practicing librarians the fair spans artists’ books, photography, architecture, critical theory, philosophy, art writing and more. The fair aims to cultivate the discursive field bridging contemporary publishing practices with independent and institutional libraries.
The fair also includes a public programme of talks to be announced soon. The event is free to attend and open to all. Curated by Hlib Velyhorskyi and Arnaud Desjardin Biblioteka Art Book Fair was initiated as part of Art and The Book Season at the Warburg in 2025 following the invitation of institute’s Head of Public Programme Matthew Harle and realised together with Programme Manager & Associate Curator Phoebe Cripps.
Biblioteka is an independent library of artists’ publications based at the Architectural Association in London. It holds a collection of over 10,000 books covering the last 30 years of art publishing. Many of its titles are rare and out of print. The library runs a regular programme of readings, screenings, exhibitions and music events. It engages critically with the notion of library as a spatial, architectural, social and cultural project.
