We're delighted to be taking part in the London Festival of Architecture 2026 — and we're marking the occasion with something special. On Saturday 13th June, we'll be leading a guided walk through Fitzrovia as part of the official launch of Modernist Fitzrovia, our newest tour on the Modernist mobile app.
Book your place here.

From art deco flourishes to brutalist outcrops, Fitzrovia compresses an improbable amount of twentieth-century ambition into a few walkable streets — much of it quietly disappearing.
Peter Halliday will guide you through streets that most people walk without looking up — past buildings that were once radical propositions, that signalled something about who the city was for and what it might become. These were buildings designed with purpose: to signal that everyone belonged here, that the city was made for ordinary people as much as for institutions and ideas.
This tour is for long-term residents and newcomers alike — for anyone who has ever stopped on a Fitzrovia pavement and wondered what that building was trying to say, and to whom.
Come along now. Before it's gone.
