BRUTAL Bristol

Group exhibition

BRUTAL Bristol is a collaborative exhibition that celebrates the power and geometry of Bristol's overlooked brutalist architecture. Born from the success of Tom Benjamin's succesful BRUTAL Bristol II zine, this exhibition brings together photographers, designers, and artists to reclaim and recontextualise the city's concrete landmarks.

Exhibition open: 08.10.25-12.10.25

at Sparks Bristol
78 Broadmead, Bristol, BS1 3DS
open 11am to 5pm

The exhibition seeks to illuminate this frequently under appreciated architectural era through an array of artists and media. Visitors will encounter multiple perspectives via diverse photographic approaches, sculptural concrete models and illustrations.

An event on Saturday 11th October will see the launch of the Bristol Modernist Society and a range of Bristol architecture walks for their app, with a guided walk taking place too in the afternoon. (Walk can be booked here)
