The Modernist App (2024 - present)

In 2024, with the support of the GMCA and Fablr, we launched the Modernist App.

The app serves as a tour guide to modernist architecture in various cities, utilising geolocation mapping to assist users along the way. Each building is featured with images and data, forming a series of free, downloadable guided tours.

The tours are expertly curated, providing users with architectural and historical details. Initially, the app featured five tours of Manchester city centre, with additional tours to be continually added, starting with boroughs in Greater Manchester. Following this, funding will be sought to expand the app to cover additional cities and regions.

The launch event was held at Alltogether Everything on 28th August 2024.
