The Modernist Book Fair is a unique two-day event held at the Vitsœ shop as part of the London Festival of Architecture 2024.

The book fair will take place on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd of June, as part of the London Festival of Architecture 2024, at the Vitsœ shop in Marylebone, where visitors can browse and buy books, magazines, maps, zines and more.
We are also please to present two architectural walking tours:
- Concrete Conversations: A Brutalist Photo Walk with Stefano Sama of Uhm! Publishing. (Friday 21st June at 6pm) - more info here.
- Modernist Marylebone and Fitzrovia : with Helen Barrett, journalist and founder of London Modern. (Saturday 22nd June at 2pm) - more info here.
The fair celebrates the legacy and diversity of modernism, inviting visitors to delve into the post-war period of re-imagining in Britain and beyond. During this time, a new future was envisioned for all, despite the challenges.
Participants include the modernist magazine, as well as other notable publishers:
Blue Crow Maps: Known for their architectural maps, including those of London Underground Architecture; Stefi Orazi: Author of Modernist Estates and the Perambulations series; Uhm! Publishing: Focusing on Brutalist architecture, including landmarks like the South Bank Centre and South Norwood Library, the Twentieth Century Society who campaign for and celebrate the architecture of the 20th and 21st centuries and Spaceplay will be bringing alomg some of their miniature concrete models of brutalist buildings.
